Senior Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

We are currently collaborating with a prominent client who has an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer. This role is pivotal in supporting the expansion of their dynamic team. Our client specializes in the manufacturing sector, particularly within the Aerospace and Automotive fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and facilitate the assembly/commissioning of bespoke machinery and automated systems.
  • Proficient in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Prepare precise Bills of Materials.
  • Utilize CAD software to develop detailed models.
  • Conduct design and calculations for fundamental components.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical abilities, with expertise in hand calculations.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, including sheet metal and castings.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in SP machine design and assembly fitting.
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software such as Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
  • Background in the Automotive or Aerospace industry.
  • Experience with custom machinery.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining processes.
