We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care/Home Care Assistant to join our support team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on supporting individuals with epilepsy and/or seizures, and promoting independence.

The successful candidate will provide daily support and supervision with personal care, medication administration, transport assistance, home duties, and accompanying appointments and social events. A full driving licence and own vehicle are preferred, and flexibility in working hours over each day of the week is essential.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £9.00-£10.50, depending on experience, as well as a pension, 5.6 weeks' annual leave, and full certificated training on all aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and supervision with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Assist with medication administration and transport
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and social events
  • Support with home duties and daily living tasks
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to promote independence and well-being

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on supporting individuals with epilepsy and/or seizures
  • Ability to provide support and supervision with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Full driving licence and own vehicle (preferred)
