We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Combination Products and Devices R&D team at Teva Pharmaceuticals. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of drug delivery devices, ensuring they are safe, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Support the engineering design and development of drug delivery devices, from research to life-cycle management.
- Ensure products are engineered to be reliable and robust, with suitable objective evidence and documentation in compliance with our Quality Management System.
- Lead or support Safety Risk Management activities, including Hazards identification, risk analysis, and process risk assessments.
- Lead or support technical design reviews to assess robustness and safety, and documentation quality compliance.
- Lead or support investigations to identify root causes of device issues using established techniques.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental processes, including the development of Standard Operating Procedures, guidelines, and templates.
- Graduate in Engineering, Scientific, or other Technical discipline.
- Experience in the design, manufacture, and life-cycle management of medical devices or combination products from concept to commercialization.
- Understanding of Design Controls, medical device Safety Risk Management, and European Medical Device Directive/Regulations.
- Familiarity with statistical methods, including the derivation of test sample sizes proportionate to risk.
- Excellent 3D spatial awareness and visualization of concepts, mechanisms, and assemblies.
- Knowledge of Solidworks 3D CAD is desirable.
