Position Overview

We are seeking a Campus Support Officer to become an integral part of our committed team at our client's site in Gloucestershire.

Your primary responsibility will be to enhance safety and security across the premises and respond effectively to alarm activations or incidents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct visible foot and mobile patrols of the buildings and surrounding areas to reassure staff and visitors while deterring criminal activity and anti-social behavior.
  • Manage the unlocking and locking of buildings, including the setting and unsetting of alarms.
  • Provide assistance, information, and guidance to visitors, staff, and members of the public.
  • Respond to incidents and provide accurate information in accordance with established procedures, ensuring security matters are handled safely and appropriately.
  • Investigate the cause of any alarm activation on site and reset systems as necessary.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Must possess the right to work in the UK.
  • DS or Guarding Badge is required.
  • Familiarity with the security industry and related services is essential.
  • Strong customer care skills are important, alongside the potential for training; an SIA license will be necessary.
