Evolutionary Anthropology Professorship Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as an Associate Professor in Evolutionary Anthropology. The successful applicant will have a strong research background in evolutionary anthropology, including primatology, primate/animal behaviour, and palaeoanthropology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research at an international level
  • Teach, supervise, and examine undergraduate and postgraduate students
  • Contribute to School administration and governance
Requirements
  • PhD in anthropology with a specialization in evolutionary anthropology
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Track record of obtaining research funding and evidence of research accomplishment
  • Ability to manage research programmes and attract external funding
What We Offer

The appointee will be a Governing Body Fellow of Wadham College and will have the opportunity to contribute to the School's research and teaching activities. The post is available from January 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
