Job Summary:
Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support our partner schools in the Corby area. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and providing individualized support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a Key Stage 1 (KS1) setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in daily tasks and activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
- Prepare resources and the classroom to meet the needs of students with SEND.
- Provide one-to-one support to students with ASD, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
- Monitor pupil progress, identifying gaps in learning and developing strategies to address them.
- Build trusting relationships with students, prioritizing their social and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEND in a KS1 setting.
- Ability to provide relevant references that demonstrate your experience and skills in supporting students with SEND.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
