Commercial Analyst Job Description

Alexander Lloyd Senior Finance is partnering with a high-growth travel and leisure organisation to fill a permanent Commercial Analyst position.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and ambitious individual to join a vibrant and fast-paced environment. The organisation is looking to become a market leader in their field, with significant growth plans.

The role sits within the UK Finance Function, working closely with the CFO and Head of Commercial Finance. The successful candidate will be based in London, with hybrid working arrangements (twice a week in the London office).

The salary for this position is up to £50,000, plus bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the group leadership team to develop the business's medium to long-term financial and strategic plan.
  • Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic, and other business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the group leadership team to build annual budgets.
  • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on monthly results, working with accounting and group leadership to create the monthly report of business results.
  • Analyse financial and operational results to better understand company performance.
Requirements
  • Qualified by experience or studying CIMA.
  • Strong commercial finance background with examples of business partnering with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience in a high-growth or start-up environment is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using Adaptive Insights/Power BI or similar, with SAP being a plus.
  • Proven experience in extracting and manipulating data from various sources.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
