Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our luxury wine and spirits sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies, with a strong focus on new business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth across multiple channels.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse global sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retail partners to secure and expand distribution networks.
  • Oversee the negotiation of commercial agreements, ensuring profitable terms and strong partnerships.

  • Manage the sales budget, including forecasting, monitoring pricing strategies, and implementing cost-saving measures to ensure profitability.

  • Regularly review sales performance, utilizing sound commercial data to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a senior sales leadership role within the luxury wine, spirits, or champagne sectors.
  • Proven track record in creating and executing successful sales strategies, with a strong focus on new business development.
  • A robust network of high-profile industry connections and an in-depth understanding of luxury market dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and financial management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • WSET or equivalent wine qualifications are highly desirable.
