Job Description:

**Company:** We are a leading manufacturer based in the West Midlands region, seeking a highly skilled Quality Support professional to join our team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a Quality Support who will ensure that our manufacturing processes are executed in accordance with established process control plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role involves inspecting and testing products to ensure they meet specifications, and providing training and coaching to the manufacturing team on quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Inspection and Testing: Conduct First-Off, Last-Off, and In-Process inspections of products against engineering drawings and process control plans.
  2. Data Analysis and Recording: Record and analyze data from product inspection and testing to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  3. Training and Coaching: Provide training and coaching to the manufacturing team on product quality requirements, and promote customer product quality expectations throughout the business.
  4. SOP Maintenance: Maintain and update SOPs and quality instructions to ensure they are current and effective.
  5. Support in Production Operations: Provide support in production operations and roles as required.

Key Relationships: This role will involve working closely with the Quality Manager, Production Supervisor, Metrology Engineer, and other Manufacturing Staff to ensure seamless execution of quality processes.

Essential Skills: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong attention to detail, knowledge of PCDIMIS and Nikon Nexiv systems, strong communication skills, flexibility to support production roles, strong analytical and organizational skills, and PC literacy.
