Our client, a leading Tier 1 Design & Build Contractor specializing in the water sector, is engaged in a significant programme of work valued at £1.2 Billion, aimed at executing over 800 infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.

We are seeking to appoint two Electrical Operations Supervisors to oversee activities across the northern Anglian Water region, primarily focusing on Lincolnshire and extending to the Humber area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all electrical site operations efficiently, adhering to specifications and contractual timelines while prioritizing health and safety.
  • Ensure high-quality electrical installations are completed in accordance with current standards and specifications.
  • Verify the integrity of new electrical systems and perform safe isolation of Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.
  • Monitor the performance of the supply chain and project timelines.
  • Review and update supplier inspection and testing plans to ensure relevance to ongoing work activities.
  • Support commissioning activities as necessary.
  • Participate in collaborative planning meetings, contributing to the development of site delivery schedules.
  • Conduct electrical isolations and regular safety inspections on both temporary and permanent equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation of project takeover documentation.
  • Oversee electrical testing in compliance with BS7671, evaluating test results against guidance notes and manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certification is essential.
  • C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations is required.
  • NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes is preferred.
