About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Referral and Assessment Team. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a key role in assessing the needs of children and families, and developing effective plans to support their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop effective plans to support their well-being.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including social workers, police officers, and healthcare professionals, to ensure that children and families receive the support they need.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, families, and other professionals to ensure that children's needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure that children and families receive the best possible support.
  • Provide supervision and guidance to social workers to ensure that they are equipped to provide effective support to children and families.

What You'll Need:

  • Significant experience of working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Proven ability to assess the needs of children and families and develop effective plans to support their well-being.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
