About the Role

In this position, you will be a key member in the presales process, working directly with global business customers and collaborating with account managers to develop cloud solutions for the customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, Develop, and Implement Cloud Solutions
    • Design and develop cloud solutions to meet business requirements, creating cost-efficient, highly available, and scalable solutions for customers, including Well-Architected reviews and Statements of Work.
  • Research and Analyze Current Solutions
    • Research and analyze current cloud solutions and initiate improvement plans to optimize business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure cloud solutions are designed and developed according to best practices.
  • Share Knowledge and Expertise
    • Share your knowledge with our customers and the cloud community by participating in public speaking engagements, such as workshops, conferences, webinars, and more.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of hands-on experience in an AWS environment, including implementation, migration, and maintenance, designing solutions end-to-end.
  • 2 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Customer Engineering, SRE, Cloud Architect, or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in an IT environment, including hands-on experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps tools, an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a production environment developing software with either Python, Go, Java, or equivalents.
  • Indepth knowledge of AWS's main services, with an emphasis on Kubernetes and Containers.
  • Successfully designed DevOps and Infrastructure for high-scale production environments in AWS.
  • Understanding of Information Security best practices.
  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or a specialty certification, an advantage.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical design in verbal and written formats in front of customers.
  • Ability to lead an end-to-end engagement with the account management team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
