Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Executive Administration Manager. This role will provide exceptional support to the School of Agriculture, Policy and Development (SAPD) and our commercial farm business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Farm Business Administration: Provide strategic support for planning and resource allocation, manage interactions between teaching, research, and the commercial farm, and assist with budget monitoring, requisitions, and invoice management.
  • Research Administration: Offer financial overviews, assist with staff time-sheets, contract costings, and project financial management. Liaise with University departments for research grants and budget management.
  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between Farm and Research Managers, manage information for School staff, and act as secretary for committees.
  • Liaison with External Stakeholders: Serve as an intermediary between stakeholders and researchers, organise external visitor arrangements, and attend stakeholder events.
  • Buildings and Site Management: Oversee maintenance, equipment servicing, and space allocation. Coordinate with University departments on construction, housing, and security.
  • Personnel Management: Monitor employment contracts and compliance with HR procedures.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to Health & Safety, data protection, and environmental regulations.
