About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Health and Safety Administrator to join our team at Kent Fire and Rescue Service. As a key member of our Health and Safety Team, you will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our health and safety functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Health and Safety Team, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, and minutes, as well as manage diaries and ensure timely distribution of documents.
  • Manage the shared mailbox for the team, recording and directing reported incidents to Health and Safety Advisors for investigation.
  • Deliver efficient specialist administration support to the team, including completing and maintaining documentation related to health and safety incident reports.
Requirements
  • Accurate IT skills in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
