POSITION TITLE: Expert
REPORTS TO: Counter Manager
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: To meet personal sales goals set by La Mer while contributing to the overall success of the account through exceptional customer service.
To uphold and enhance the brand's image and reputation among customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. PROMOTE THE LA MER RANGE
- Meet and exceed retail sales targets as outlined by the Company through the Counter Manager.
- Stay informed about and achieve daily sales goals in terms of unit sales and overall productivity.
- Utilize effective selling techniques to reach average sales targets.
- Engage with potential customers outside the counter to expand the brand's reach.
- Identify customer needs through thoughtful questioning and product demonstrations.
- Effectively close sales and encourage customers to return for follow-up visits.
- Ensure all customers are registered in the system and update their information regularly.
2. CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Take ownership of developing and nurturing your own client relationships using tools such as the replenishment diary and customer registry.
- Introduce and maintain the Client Profile card, ensuring accurate guest information and a minimum capture rate of 80%.
- Verify that each guest is enrolled in the current OCT program and keep their profiles updated.
- Complete follow-up procedures, including updating the replenishment diary and sending thank-you notes.
- Exhibit extensive product knowledge to effectively meet customer needs.
3. PERSONAL PRESENTATION
- Adhere to La Mer's high standards of personal grooming and presentation.
- Maintain a polished appearance, including appropriate makeup and attire.
- Wear the designated uniform as required.
4. TEAM COLLABORATION
- Support team efficiency by being adaptable and taking on various tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with the Counter Manager and team members.
- Participate in regular team meetings to stay aligned with objectives.
- Work collaboratively with store personnel and La Mer staff to maintain high operational standards.
- Demonstrate punctuality to enhance team performance.
5. MAINTAINING STANDARDS
Regularly clean and organize counters, tester stands, and displays to uphold the La Mer image.
Ensure merchandise is presented according to company guidelines.
6. ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly.
7. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Be prepared to assist with other duties as needed to support the Counter Manager and the overall team, including event ownership and support during peak business periods.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail or guest services is preferred, especially in the beauty sector.
- Demonstrated ability to provide authentic and personalized customer service.
- Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Familiarity with retail point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the country is required for interview consideration.
