Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Administer and record medication, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, working closely with the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • A good understanding of care planning processes and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Experience in administering medication and a willingness to undertake training.
