Sea Global is excited to collaborate with one of the foremost Financial Services Groups globally. They are undergoing a significant transformation, leading to this newly created Procurement opportunity.

This position reports directly to the Procurement Manager, with whom you will closely collaborate. While a background in Banking or Financial Services is preferred, candidates from other sectors with substantial end-to-end procurement experience in IT and indirect categories are also encouraged to apply.

The role is initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete procurement process, including Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Spend Analysis and Reporting, Supplier Performance Monitoring, Compliance with Procurement Policies, Change Management, and Vendor Risk Management.
  • Coordinate, attend, and engage in supplier meetings, encompassing contractual negotiations, service evaluations, and incident management discussions.
  • Promote cost-saving initiatives by ensuring all purchasing actions are conducted fairly and appropriately.
  • Monitor OPEX and CAPEX expenditures for inclusion in monthly reporting metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in developing new procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in end-to-end procurement across various indirect categories.
  • Preferred background in Banking or Financial Services, though not mandatory.
  • Experience with contract management tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Degree and CIPS qualification are desirable.
