Position Overview

Abatec Recruitment is seeking a skilled Site Engineering Specialist to collaborate with a prominent contractor on a freelance basis.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be engaged in various earthworks and infrastructure initiatives throughout the region.

  • Utilize expertise in GPS technology, Total Station, and Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure project success.
  • Serve as the primary source of technical guidance and quality oversight for all personnel on-site.
  • Conduct leveling and surveying across the project area, verifying drawings and quantities while ensuring calculation accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with GPS machine guidance/control, robotic total stations, and QA processes.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of construction health and safety protocols.
  • Possess an HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Exhibit familiarity with AutoCAD.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience in Civil Engineering projects.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • A comprehensive background in utilizing advanced surveying equipment.
