We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Sussex Community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children in our outpatients and planned care setting.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional patient care to children in our outpatients and planned care setting
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Develop and maintain skills in venepuncture and cannulation
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance clinical skills
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care
- Registered Paediatric Nurse on the NMC register
- Evidence of diploma level / degree level study
- Evidence of continual professional development
- Additional Nursing Qualifications i.e A1/NVQ Assessor award /mentorship
- Recent experience within the NHS or similar organisation
- Generic experience in an acute care setting
- Knowledge of quality, audit and research
- Ability to manage a clinical case load
- Demonstrate an up-to-date skills inventory to include Basic Life Support, drug calculation and use of infusions
- Experience within specialities relevant to Paediatric Outpatient caseload
- Experience of working in a hospital environment
