Welder Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at RSK Group. The successful candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Main Responsibilities:- Design and Fabrication: Read and interpret drawings and plans to develop and design welding projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Welding Operations: Interpret welding procedures, specifications, and standards in engineering construction, and lay out, fit, measure, and weld metals to create desired shapes or objects.
- Equipment Operation: Operate welding equipment, including burning equipment, and manufacture parts using detailed drawings.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test welds for durability and adherence to specified standards, highlighting any items that do not meet job requirements.
- Maintenance and Reporting: Inspect, examine, and test equipment to determine if repairs or new equipment are needed, and complete reports, RAMS, and job sheets in a clear and concise manner.
To be considered for this position, you will have at least 2-3 years of previous experience in a welding role, ideally within an engineering setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
