As a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering high-level technical assistance and innovative solutions to our clientele. Your responsibilities will include tackling intricate IT challenges, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' technological environments. This position demands a robust proficiency in Azure, Office 365, and Networking, encompassing routers, switches, and VLANs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced support and troubleshooting for escalated IT challenges.
- Oversee and manage cloud environments, predominantly within Microsoft Azure.
- Administer and provide support for Office 365, covering Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Design, configure, and manage network infrastructures, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
- Collaborate with junior support teams to efficiently resolve technical issues.
- Implement and uphold security best practices across all IT systems.
- Conduct regular system monitoring, maintenance, and optimization.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and solutions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Technical Support Engineer role or equivalent.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including VM management, networking, and security.
- Extensive experience with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting.
- In-depth knowledge of networking technologies, including routers, switches, and VLANs.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Microsoft Certification in any relevant area.
