Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor safety advisors
  • Serve as a prominent advocate for safety and wellbeing within the project
  • Establish and uphold safety protocols
  • Facilitate training sessions on safety practices
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits
  • Compile reports and presentations regarding safety performance
  • Represent the safety function in various meetings
  • Lead investigations into incidents
  • Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Membership in a recognized professional organization (e.g., IOSH)
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • CSCS Card and a valid driving license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
  • Previous experience in the construction sector is preferred
  • Experience with Joint Ventures and virtual meetings is advantageous
