- Collect premiums prior to the commencement of cover, adhering to Howden's procedures.
- Handle all client queries, whether written or verbal, in a professional and effective manner.
- Record all relevant information, correspondence, and documentation on our systems, utilizing the diary system to stay organized.
- Process adjustments in line with procedures, including notification to insurers, issue of revised documentation, and collection of additional premium.
- Actively cross-sell products from other divisions, identifying opportunities to increase revenue and enhance client satisfaction.
- Must have experience working with commercial products within the insurance industry.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with clients.
- Good negotiation and broking skills, with the ability to persuade and influence others.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to gather and analyze information from clients and respond appropriately.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent), with a Certificate in Insurance (desirable).
