Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Multi Utility Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing multi-utility designs to clients within the multi-utility and power sectors.

The role will involve creating scheme drawings, Single Line Diagrams, and civil construction packages, as well as attending utility workshops and collaborating with clients and statutory undertakers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review site investigations and understand utility diversions and site constraints
  • Draft scheme drawings for construction or further investigations in 2D and 3D formats
  • Design construction packages in 2D and 3D formats
  • Attend utility workshops with clients and statutory undertakers

Requirements

  • 5 years minimum experience working in the Multi Utility industry
  • Knowledge of Thames Water, National Grid Gas, and Telecommunication network requirements
  • Ability to draft scheme drawings in DWG and Civil 3D formats
  • Understanding of Single Line Diagrams and technical abbreviations/symbols
  • Understanding of NJUG and NRSWA requirements

Qualifications and Training

  • HNC, HND, or Degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
  • Multi Utility experience is essential
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk software packages

Additional Information

The successful candidate must be willing to travel to sites across London and the South East, as well as throughout the UK, for site meetings with stakeholders.
