Sheetmetal Worker Opportunity

Contracts Engineering Ltd is seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Worker to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for working with thin gauge materials, typically between 0.9mm to 6.0m mild, stainless steel and aluminium, from engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines and welding robots to fabricate sheetmetal components
  • Perform MIG welding at a basic level to assist with running welding robots
  • Work in a modern sheet metal fabrication environment, adhering to high standards of quality and safety
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve production targets and deadlines
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements

· 2+ years of experience in a modern sheet metal fabrication environment

· Knowledge of engineering drawings and ability to interpret them

· Basic MIG welding skills and experience with CNC machines

· High attention to detail and strong teamwork skills
