We are seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our client's team in Southam. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and unload delivery vehicles and containers
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Review and verify orders before delivery
- Use handheld devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records
- Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedules
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery van and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Conduct risk assessments and daily safety checks on the van
- Adhere to traffic and transportation regulations and company policies
- Pick orders and prepare them for delivery
- Assist with general warehouse maintenance and organization
- Previous experience in a similar role with a valid full driving license
- Good geographical knowledge and strong customer service skills
- Experience in manual handling and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet targets and work well in a team environment
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines and undertake any necessary training
