Share Schemes Tax Associate Director

Cedar is seeking a highly skilled Share Schemes Tax Associate Director to join their Incentives & Reward team. This dynamic role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from global corporations to fast-growing private companies across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and structure employee share and cash incentive schemes to meet clients' needs.
  • Implement these plans both in the UK and globally, ensuring compliance with tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance on tax and legal ramifications for employers and employees worldwide.
  • Develop tax-efficient strategies for delivering incentives.
  • Draft essential documents such as share plan rules, FAQs, and tax guides.
  • Inform clients of changes in tax and legal regulations affecting incentives.
  • Assist with business development and building client relationships.
Desired Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in UK and/or global incentive plan consulting.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA, Solicitor, or Barrister are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of share plans in professional services or industry, with an understanding of relevant legislation.
