Footwear Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Footwear Technologist to join our Technical team at LF Fashion, part of Li & Fung. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a range of kids footwear and working closely with our General Technical Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement construction, pattern cutting techniques, and fitting processes for kids footwear.
- Ensure compliance with consumer product safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Risk assess products and understand testing and performance.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers at all levels.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel) to manage tasks and projects.
- Experience in kids footwear within the fashion industry.
- Knowledge of construction, pattern cutting techniques, and fitting processes.
- Strong understanding of consumer product safety requirements and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office.
