Mobility Equipment Repair Technician
Technology Pages Ltd T/A Career Poster is seeking a skilled technician to enhance our service offerings in the mobility equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning mobility products both in-store and at customer locations.
- Procure necessary spare parts from a variety of suppliers.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of equipment on-site and within the store.
- Refurbish pre-owned equipment for resale purposes.
- Assemble new mobility equipment.
- Facilitate local and nationwide deliveries of equipment.
- Receive deliveries from suppliers and manage inventory.
- Support the sales team with customer inquiries as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop and storage area.
Required Skills
- Strong technical aptitude; prior experience with mobility products is not necessary.
- Empathetic and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients, particularly the elderly and disabled.
- Capability to safely lift and handle heavy items.
- Exceptional time management abilities.
- Basic proficiency in computer usage.
- Valid UK driving license.
Compensation
£27,500 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
Working Hours Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Annual Leave 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays.
