Key Responsibilities:
  • Bulk Haulage Transport: Deliver goods from Southampton to various locations, including Dover and Tilbury.
  • Load Management: Assist in loading goods if required, ensuring the load is secure and ready for transport.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Maintain clear and effective communication with the dispatch team and customers.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and adhere to traffic laws.
Requirements:
  • General haulage experience is essential.
  • Experience driving in and around the Port of Southampton.
  • Previous experience using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) is preferred.
  • Cruise ship experience is desirable but not essential.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £31,200 per annum.
  • Working Hours: 06:00 am to 15:00 pm, with some flexibility required.
  • Weekend Work: Must be willing to work weekends as needed.
  • Holidays: 25 days of holiday, plus an additional day if you work Easter Friday.
