Job Summary:

Ashton Recruitment is seeking a skilled Furniture Fitter/ Van Driver to join our client's team in Belfast. The ideal candidate will have a valid CSR Card and a UK Driving Licence, with flexibility to stay away overnight across the ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect furniture for specification discrepancies and check for shortages/ damages
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Build office furniture on various sites across NI and ROI
  • Work in a safe and timely fashion to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Work in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure each site is tidy upon completion of work

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid CSR Card
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Flexibility to stay away overnight across ROI (Hotel paid & Food expenses provided daily)

Desirable Criteria:

  • Background/ experience in joinery/fit outs/ Furniture fitting

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work on various sites across NI and ROI, with occasional overnight stays. Hotel accommodation and food expenses will be provided.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £11.50
  • Overtime rates: Time & a half for work after 6pm or on a Saturday, Double Time for work after 9pm or on a Sunday
  • Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 5pm (hours may vary based on job site location)
