We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our Management Accounts team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders across the Liberty Global footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accounting processes across the organization, prepare journal entries, and analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for process improvement.
- Support and influence decision-making across the organization, working within internal reporting deadlines.
- Implement an effective internal control framework, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to standardize and automate processes, ensuring work is performed efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Qualified Accountant, or Audit Manager with Management Accounts experience.
- Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA etc) and either newly qualified or with a degree of post-qualified experience.
- Coaching and development of less experienced finance and accounting colleagues.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience of working within large complex corporate structures, managing key stakeholder relationships, and delivering to deadlines.
- Experience of research into emerging or complex accounting or reporting issues.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM).
