Overview

Microsoft is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solution Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in enabling customers to achieve their outcomes based on their investments in Microsoft technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical conversations with customers and Microsoft colleagues to drive value from their MS investments.
  • Accelerate customer adoption by building solutions and identifying resolutions to issues impeding customer success projects.
  • Drive product influence with Engineering and increase technical intensity in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field.
  • Experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or Business Applications consulting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business Value: Ability to convey the business needs and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Trusted Advisership: Ability to build trusted advisor status and deep relationships across stakeholders.
  • Situational fluency: Using self-awareness as a mechanism to interpret verbal and non-verbal cues.
  • Insightful listening: Asking insightful questions to understand customer needs, issues, business environment, and drivers.

Technical Requirements

  • Breadth of technical experience and knowledge in foundational security, foundational AI, architecture design, with depth/Subject Matter Expertise in one or more of the following: Enterprise-scale technical experience and depth with one or more areas of the Azure Analytics ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, design and build of Advanced Analytics and Big Data solutions, hands-on experience with data warehousing, big data, analytics workloads (Azure or equivalent).
