Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cleansing Driver to join our team at the Marybank Depot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving allocated vehicles, including HGVs, and ensuring that all driving duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive allocated vehicles, including HGVs, and ensure that all driving duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure best operational relationships between the service and members of the public.
  • Hold a current LGV Driving Licence and a current Driver CPC.
  • Have a basic knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety at Work.
  • Have an understanding of diesel engines, vehicle hydraulics, and advancements in vehicles and technology.

What We Offer

The salary for this position is inclusive of a Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of grade with annual incremental progression. Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to personally meet the team and experience our work environment.
