Job Title: ARC Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ARC Support Worker to join our team in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing flexible and responsive care packages to young people and their families.

About the Role:

The ARC has been delivering successful services to young people in Cardiff for three years, and we are now expanding to become a Regional Edge of Care Service. As part of this expansion, we are looking for a Support Worker to work with our experienced team, providing respite, intervention, outreach, and family support to young people across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver structured, evidence-based interventions to enable families to develop problem-solving skills, resilience, and achieve positive change.
  • Work with young people at their homes and at our centres, providing a rapid response to children and families in crisis.
  • Collaborate with carers and other professionals as part of a wider team to provide comprehensive support.
  • Work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our service users.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with adolescents who present with challenging behaviour.
  • Experience of working with carers and as part of a wider team.
  • Driving license and full use of a car.
  • Enhanced Child and Adult DBS.
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive rate of pay, £12.97 - £16.35 per hour, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated and experienced team.
