Job Summary

CrossReach is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Care Worker to join our team at Clashfarquhar House. As a Senior Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents. Your leadership and organisational skills will be essential in delivering outstanding care and maintaining an effective service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of care staff and oversee the care provided to our residents
  • Assess service users' needs and develop individual care plans
  • Supervise and support care staff to ensure they are meeting the needs of our residents
  • Lead nightly briefings and ensure a safe and nurturing atmosphere
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Provide management cover as needed and handle Health & Safety duties

Requirements

  • HNC in Social Care or SVQ 3 and working towards a management qualification
  • Relevant experience in a care setting
  • Basic computer skills
  • Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • A Christian faith and ability to work within and uphold the Christian ethos of CrossReach
