**Project Overview**

Our client, a leading telecoms company, requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage project cost control from handover to final account. The successful candidate will have a background in the construction/transport sector and experience in preparing and ensuring monthly client applications for payment.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and ensure timely certification and payment by the client
* Identify, prepare, price, and agree changes with the client
* Administer contracts with support from commercial
* Report monthly on cost/value reconciliation
* Negotiate and agree final accounts with the client
* Support the project manager to prepare and present the monthly contract review to senior management team
* Payment and commercial management of suppliers/sub-contractors
* Provide support and advice to the project team
* Identify areas to improve margin
* Participate in project meetings and produce progress reports
* Support bid team as required in responding to ITT requests

**Requirements**

* Experience in project cost control and contract administration
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
