We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Analysis Engineer to join our expanding Structural Analysis Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing lowest-mass solutions, adhering to pre-determined pass/fail criteria, and driving high-performance engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform first-stage sizing calculations to inform early decision-making.
  • Develop detailed FEA NVH models, incorporating composites laminates and high-performance metals.
  • Conduct NVH vibration testing and validation at component and vehicle level.
  • Apply expertise in modeling techniques, including static, modal, buckling, and vibration analysis using linear and non-linear solvers, in accordance with RBAT's rules and procedures.
  • Identify vibration fatigue failure modes and conduct service life calculations and testing.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects, requesting data and consulting with Design Engineers as needed to ensure efficient analysis and escalate issues and risks.
  • Supplement FEA studies with hand calculations and engineering reasoning to explain and validate FEA results.
  • Seek opportunities for mass reduction and product optimization, including performance, manufacturing, and cost.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Engineering, Design, or a related field.
  • Have experience in a similar role, preferably in Motorsport, Automotive, Aerospace, or a fast-paced Engineering environment.
  • Be proficient in NVH finite element analysis and optimization of high-performance composite and metallic structures.
  • Experienced in analysis for fatigue and defining the service life of high-performance components.
  • Be a concise and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal English language skills.
  • Display a proactive, passionate, and flexible attitude.
