Job Description

At Turner & Townsend, we're passionate about making a difference in the infrastructure sector. We're seeking a skilled BIM Consultant to join our team and help shape the future of digital delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies to meet client requirements
  • Author key BIM documentation and workflows aligned to industry best practice standards
  • Manage the roll out and implementation of BIM within client organisations, across programmes of works, and at project level
  • Communicate BIM strategy, documentation, and workflows to stakeholders
  • Interface with clients, design teams, and contractors to implement BIM methodologies and best practice
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Conduct assurance reviews and clash detection of design models
  • Analyse project data against requirements
  • Consider people, process, and technology to ensure a holistic approach to digital delivery and BIM
  • Apply rigorous quality procedures for management of version control and audit trail
  • Build client relationships and reinforce credibility as a BIM subject matter expert
  • Research and evaluate the potential application of new and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • 2:1 Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject or relevant professional experience
  • BIM or Information Management Certification
  • Professional membership or accreditation such as APM, CEng, BCS
  • Good understanding of ISO19650 and other BIM-related Standards
  • Experience of advising on BIM and implementing onto projects
  • Working knowledge of development and management of BIM documentation
  • Working knowledge of a Common Data Environment and related software
  • Experience with using 3D Modelling/Review software such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri etc
  • Understanding of project/programme delivery environment including PMO
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
