Job Title: Technical Sales and Support Manager - Renewable Energy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales and Support Manager to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a Technical Sales and Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers, managing key customer accounts, and contributing to the wider commercial and product strategies for our renewable product lines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Training: Develop and deliver training programs to customers and internal stakeholders on our solar PV products and services.
  2. Site Support: Visit construction sites to support installers and ensure successful installation of our solar PV products.
  3. Design and Consultation: Produce designs and provide technical consultation to customers on the use of our solar PV products.
  4. Customer Support: Handle customer queries, investigate complaints, and provide technical support to customers.
  5. Trade Show and Merchandising: Attend trade shows and visit merchants to promote our solar PV and renewable energy products.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  2. Technical Qualifications: Hold qualifications in a technical-related subject, such as a degree in a relevant field, or have comparable experience in a roofing or electrical-related role.
  3. Training Experience: Ideally, have experience delivering training programs.
  4. Construction Site Experience: Have experience working on or attending construction sites.
  5. Technical Aptitude: Be technically minded and able to learn product and system information.
  6. Driving License: Possess a full UK driving license and be flexible to travel regularly.
