We are seeking a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to support schools in Newton Abbot. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students remain on task with the work set.
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment, managing classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring a safe and productive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people, ideally within a school setting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and maintain discipline.
  • A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to different subjects and age groups.
