Cloud Network Engineer

Cloud Cover LLC is seeking a talented Cloud Network Engineer to join our Global Cloud Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of our Production Hybrid Cloud Network, which protects billions of emails every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and administer network devices, services, and components to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Proactively identify and resolve infrastructure issues, providing swift restoration to operational status and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain tools, automation, and Infrastructure as Code to manage and monitor the network.
  • Deploy network changes to a Hybrid Cloud Network through automation and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Provide exceptional support to internal Engineering teams by working with Product and Engineering teams to support program delivery.
  • Perform technical support functions for internal engineering teams.
  • Identify improvements to runbooks, monitoring, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a relevant technical role, with excellent proficiency maintaining and troubleshooting distributed networks in a Hybrid Cloud environment.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining network infrastructure, both on-prem and in AWS with CloudFormation/Terraform.
  • An in-depth understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges and deliver results.
  • Naturally creative and resourceful, with an outstanding attention to detail.
