Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Yard Supervisor to manage our equestrian facility during the afternoon hours. This role is essential for ensuring the well-being of our horses and ponies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the yard from 2pm to 5pm, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Perform essential yard services including turning out and bringing in horses, managing rugs, and providing necessary foot care.
  • Prepare and distribute feed and hay, ensuring all animals receive proper nutrition.
  • Conduct grooming and tacking up of horses as required.
  • Maintain a tidy yard environment, including checking water troughs and managing ragwort.
  • Assist the yard owner with various tasks as needed.
