About the Role

Cathie is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team of experts in offshore geoscience and geotechnical engineering consultancy. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering structural and geotechnical design services for our offshore energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement structural and geotechnical design methods for offshore projects
  • Collaborate with our structural and geotechnical engineering staff to deliver consultancy services
  • Work with dynamic and entrepreneurial colleagues to deliver anchor and foundation design projects
  • Provide technical advice on design, installation, and operations of anchoring systems
  • Prepare responses to RFQ/ITT for engineering consultancy services
  • Develop the technical capability and expertise of the company
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering or relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in offshore energy industry
  • Direct experience in structural/mooring design of foundations and anchors
  • Installation, operations, and maintenance experience for offshore structures
  • Strong understanding of recognised UK and International quality standards
  • Competent user of engineering software packages, including ANSYS, PLAXIS, and DIGIN
