About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Designer to join our Engineering Services Department at GFG. As a CAD Designer, you will play a critical role in providing a Drawing Support Service to our Engineering Functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide CAD-based drawing support services to the Department and Plant Engineers.
  • Manage document storage systems, updating the Autodesk Vault system with drawings and manuals.
  • Locate drawings from and within our archive department, update records by obsolescing or removing redundant drawings from the system and cross-referencing to replacement drawings where necessary.
  • Provide guidance to other users of AutoCAD and Vault, and facilitate the Site Services Certificate process used to identify services and utilities when planning excavations.
Requirements
  • A strong background in Engineering drawing and experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Vault.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • The ability to develop and deliver training to colleagues, with a strong focus on knowledge sharing and collaboration.
