CNC Machinist Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join our team at a successful turned parts company in North Devon. As a CNC machinist, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and operate CNC machines to specific programs as per part number and work instruction sheet via DNC link.
  • Load tooling as appropriate into CNC machines.
  • Check accuracy of parts using appropriate measurement tools.
  • Take corrective action to rectify errors by offset adjustment on CNC machines.
  • Maintain TPM on machines.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes are efficient and effective.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained in setting and programming CNC turning machines in a precision environment.
  • Have an eye for detail and a methodical, organized approach.
  • Have a proven track record of work and experience.
  • Previous machining experience is essential.
