About the Role
This is a 4-month contract with scope to be extended. As a key member of the team, you will help transform the business and find solutions to make the world a smarter place for tomorrow.
You will be responsible for the technical deliverables of projects, ensuring the work meets or exceeds requirements, on time and to budget.
Main Responsibilities
- Technical project deliverables, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Identification and specification of technology and equipment needed to meet project requirements.
- Operation and maintenance of robotic demonstration facilities.
- Risk identification and management of issues as they arise.
- Support creation of technical documents, project meetings, and customer witness testing.
- Carry out other reasonable management requests.
Essential Job Requirements
- Minimum degree in Computer Science, Simulation, Robotics & Automation, or a relevant Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in robotics technology, particularly in mechanical & electrical integration, machine vision, programming (ROS, C++, Python), and path motion/planning.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter, with the ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and quality expectations.
- Have a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Flexibility to undertake ad-hoc UK & European travel as required.
