Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage with qualified suppliers, executing selection processes to meet client needs

  • Apply procurement principles to ensure supply security, reduce complexity, and achieve financial targets
  • Source specialized items and execute complex sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and relationships
  • Work closely with peers and stakeholders to support business goals and objectives
  • Independently carry out sourcing activities, considering the impact on the end-to-end supply chain
  • Execute sourcing tactics of varying complexity, reflecting the optimum cost, quality, delivery, and relationship

Requirements

  • Utilizes data analytics to discover, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative data, determining conclusions and presenting outcomes that enable data-driven business decisions
  • Establishes regional category strategy using the Total Value Performance (TVP) approach, defining the Supply Base, Tooling, and Technology Strategy to meet client needs
  • Manages risk and inclusion of diverse suppliers
  • Establishes and controls product and service costs using functional tools to deliver and track products and services at competitive prices
  • Utilizes the Total Cost Opportunity (TCO) model methodology
  • Understands and complies with procurement policies, procedures, and tools, mastering all required tools to conduct procurement work
