CNC Setter/Operator (Gear Cutting) Job Description

Hello, we are Retrack Personnel Holdings Limited, and we are currently seeking a skilled CNC Setter/Operator (Gear Cutting) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and manufacture small-batch aerospace components from engineering drawings to tight limits.
  • Set a variety of CNC and Manual Gear Cutting Machine Tools for operators as required.
  • Manufacture components within agreed timescales and in accordance with the manufacturing plan.
  • Ensure components are manufactured to the required quality standard.
  • Maintain material traceability and use measuring equipment to check components after manufacture.
  • Protect product at all times, including for transit, and ensure all manufacturing paperwork is completed correctly.
  • Mentor new staff as required and carry out tasks allocated by the Supervisor in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and support team members with other tasks as needed.
