Vehicle Dynamics Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join our Vehicle Performance team at Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of current and future car projects, utilizing your expertise in simulation studies, performance analysis, and mechanical rig testing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct simulation studies for current and future car development
- Analyze performance data to optimize vehicle dynamics
- Design and execute mechanical rig testing (R&D, K&C, 7-Post) to validate simulation results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation and testing data into vehicle development
- Develop and maintain mechanical models in Simulink / Dymola to support vehicle performance analysis
- Excellent degree in an Engineering related discipline
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with Matlab and/or Python coding, data analysis software, and mechanical modelling
- Hands-on experience with mechanical/automotive systems
